Born and raised in South Florida, Emmanuel “Manny” Vidales began studying piano at age six and earned a Bachelor of Music in Theory & Composition and a Master’s in Choral Conducting from Florida State University. He has music directed and accompanied numerous theatre productions, worked with leading arts institutions, and served as a collaborative vocal coach and educator. Having recently relocated to New York City, he has already collaborated on the musical teams on workshops of several new musicals including Macbeth In Stride by Whitney White, Shesus by John Leguizamo, The Amazing Mr. X, and a Disney Theatrical Group production. Manny regularly consults with Broadway music directors to discuss the intricacies of conducting within the theatre, and intends to further his career of Music Direction on Broadway with the goals of elevating musical standards and practices within the industry.. He currently serves as Music Director at TADA! Youth Theater.
