Jimmy Kontos is a director, educator, and producer with over thirty years of experience creating bold, genre-defying theatre that blends dark humor, surrealism, music, and visceral storytelling. Based in the Netherlands, he is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, attended Florida State University, and received his MFA in Directing from the University of Alabama. He has directed over fifty highly diverse productions and spent more than twenty-five years designing curriculum and leading arts programs for students of all ages. From his home in Haarlem, he continues to develop original, immersive, and interdisciplinary work across Europe and beyond.
