A recent transplant to Raleigh, North Carolina, Jessica has had 25 years of experience as a professional stage actor and 15 years as a voice actor in shows like My Hero Academia (Inko Midoriya, Deku’s sweet mama!), Attack on Titan (Carla Jaeger, Eren’s Mom), One Piece (Curly Dadan…are we seeing a trend, here??), Fairy Tail (Aquarius), Steins;Gate (Moeka, AKA Shining Finger), Black Butler (Paula), Black Clover (Puli Angel), Code: Breaker (Rui Hachioji), Karneval (Iva) and many, many others. She was also a staff writer for Funimation Entertainment (now Crunchyroll) from 2015-2021, adapting hundreds of episodes of anime for English audiences. Her semi-autobiographical play, Self-Injurious Behavior, workshopped in Dallas in 2018 and subsequently ran off-Broadway in an Equity Showcase, followed by an LA premiere in late 2019 at Theatre 68 (Executive Produced by Joe Mantegna). Her other written works include The Kindness of Strangers, a backstage play about sexual assault in the theatre set on the eve of the 2016 election, and full-length adaptations of the classics Little Women and Pride and Prejudice, which both premiered at Young Actors Theatre Company and School for the Performing Arts in her hometown, Tallahassee, Florida, where she served as the Director of Acting from 2022-2025.
